something fancy in french…Ooo la la!

I‘d like to begin by apologizing for not posting anything on the blog for a very, … very long time. I feel kinda lazy about it at the moment. Perhaps because I’ve got a new toy that I’m romancing right now.

That new toy happens to be my replacement for the sorry excuse for a phone I once possessed.

No, I did not purposefully lose the hunk of plastic that started to develop an annoying case of laziness (turning itself off at nearly every moment it could), though it may be argued that the timing did seem slightly suspicious. I must have unconsciously become fed up with the inability to actually receive calls and inadvertently left it on the roof of the car. In my argument against pre-meditation though, I also left my keys on the roof too; something much more difficult to replace! (Fortunately, they survived the mini road trip and were seen trying to take flight around a corner near our home.)

Anyways, my new companion is the iPhone4. Yes, I made the leap from barely a screen to a micro computer.

I’m absolutely smitten with this little thing. I never thought that I’d use it as much as I have, but I see the appeal of being able to surf the net whenever you want, even when you really shouldn’t.

And the camera. Oh the camera. This is the best part for me. I haven’t stopped taking pictures and I’m on the verge of becoming a spammer to my immediate family with all the pictures of the kids I’ve sent. (A small selection of which I’ve added to this post.)

Now that I’m on the other side of the fence in regards to phone technology, I’m happy to say it really is much greener over here!
