Finally, I have some pictures to post on the blog from Dan’s visit to Munich. It was a work related trip…no really!…which happened to be at the exact same time as Oktoberfest! Dan says that there were several very large beer tents and a whole bunch of very fancy rides. Similar to the PNE/playland we [...]

I‘m not sure what happened to my daily posting. I guess I was caught up in life. Over the last couple of days we’ve done a few interesting things, visiting friends and places. Yesterday we went to the Natural History museum in Geneva. It is always fun down there. May 1st is also Labour Day [...]

While doing a little grocery shopping yesterday, we discovered these beauties. Mini fireworks for your living room! Filled with what I would suspect are toys and [...]

Posing innocently with toys, the fearsome walker is actually lurking behind a rocker awaiting it’s prey. Yes it’s true. The baby death-trap, also known as a walker is available for purchase here in France. In an instant, a Canadian parents mind is filled with the fear of yet another innocent baby killed by this incidious [...]

On being Canadian

June 30, 2009

Well I don’t ever write about political stuff on this blog for many reasons. I am about to make an exception to this now. It’s about being a Canadian citizen. So recently the federal government has changed the citizenship laws. These changes mean that any child born overseas to parents who were born within Canada [...]

Playground Equipment

June 8, 2009

So at one of our favourite parks there is a giant playground where some of the structure is a little more suggestive than your average playground. This one is probably never going to be seen in Canada since it’s too obviously a giant … well (for the sake of my blog’s google reputation) you know [...]
